Worstead Baptist Church

Worstead Baptist Church is situated at Meeting Hill in North Norfolk - on the outskirts of North Walsham.  The church serves the communities of North Walsham and Worstead, as well as welcoming people in from the surrounding villages and a far away as Aylsham and Sea Palling.

Worstead Baptist Church takes quite a traditional approach to Sunday worship.  We sing a selection of old and new songs; our fellowship is a prayerful one; and our ministry is based firmly on scripture.  We are always encouraged to endeavour to live out what we learn from the Bible in our daily lives.  Communion is an intrinsic part of our service on the first Sunday of the month; and takes a traditional format.  The festivals like Christmas, Easter and Harvest are celebrated with those songs that have been associated with the occasions for generations - and related Bible teaching.

At Worstead Baptist Church we value all age groups, including older people; and we value their right to choose a more traditional style of worship, if that is what they feel comfortable with.

Following the Sunday morning worship (10:30 am) at Worstead Baptist Church, we share a time of fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee.  This is an opportunity to get to know each other better, to build up friendships and for pastoral care to take place.  Prayer ministry is also available at this time.  It is our desire at Worstead Baptist Church to see people come to faith, and also to encourage them  in their ongoing walk with Jesus - to reach spiritual maturity.

During the winter months the worship takes place in the coffee lounge round a blazing open fire.

Come and join us.
